According to Football Insider, the Toffees have their sights set on the 21-year-old as David Moyes looks to bolster his first team squad.

Fisher enjoyed a breakout campaign last year, featuring 38 times in the Championship as the Canaries finished 13th in the table.

The full-back contributed four assists, with the club missing out on a play-off place by 11 points.

Here we use estimated figures from Capology to see how much Everton may need to pay the Norwich star in weekly wages if he joins the Merseyside outfit…

Kellen Fisher’s weekly wage

Fisher has come through the academy system at Norwich, cementing himself as a key part of the first team squad with his performances last season.

The defender started the team’s opening game of the new campaign under Liam Manning, with the team losing 2-1 to Millwall.

The youngster signed a new deal last October after his initial breakthrough into becoming a regular presence in the senior team, with his new contract keeping him at Carrow Road until 2028.

As part of that new deal, Fisher is now estimated to be earning £7,500 per week from the Norfolk outfit.

The highest paid player in Manning’s squad is currently Shane Duffy, with the centre-back receiving £35,000, meaning the Everton target has some way to go before he is one of the Championship club’s top earners.

Other highly paid players in the Norwich squad include Jack Stacey and Kenny McLean, with the pair on salaries worth £30,000 and £25,000 per week, respectively.

Josh Sargent and Emi Marcondes are also earning £25,000-a-week as part of Manning’s side, with the Canaries targeting a top six push this season.

Everton’s highest paid earners

Everton are a well-established Premier League side, and have a total payroll worth of £933,700 per week.

In comparison, Norwich are paying £294,500-a-week to their first team squad, so being able to afford Fisher’s salary shouldn’t be a problem at all.

The top flight club are likely to even offer a potential pay increase as further incentive to make the switch to the new Everton stadium.

Jordan Pickford is currently the Toffees’ highest earner, with the England goalkeeper receiving £125,000 per week.

This shows that the earning potential at Everton is much greater than at Carrow Road at the moment, and could get even stronger with the club now under fresh ownership.

Other high earners at the Premier League club include the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gueye, who are both on £120,000 per week deals.

James Tarkowski is also paid £100,000-a-week, bringing the club to four players earning a six-figure sum per week.

While Fisher is likely to end up on the lower side of Everton’s pay scale, if he makes the move, he could still be paid more than double his current salary.
