Eddie Howe is hopeful to be fine to take charge after battling illness this week.
Assistant Manager Jason Tindall confirmed on Friday that Anthony Gordon will be a late call after he served his three-match suspension, but missed out on the last game against Leicester City with an injury.
Eddie Howe confirmed that Newcastle United do not have any "big injuries" after the win over Brentford, but players such as Kieran Trippier, Alexander Isak and Joelinton are carrying "niggles" which the club will continue to monitor.
Howe similarly confirmed that they are keeping an eye on Anthony Gordon who is not yet "pain free" following the knock he picked up training with England.
Long term absentees Lewis Hall, Jamal Lascelles and Sven Botman remain out injured.
Manchester United are expected to field a similar side to their 2-2 loss midweek to Lyon with no new injury news reported.
