Stoke City have confirmed the loan signing of Divin Mubama for next season.

In an announcement on their official X account, Stoke City confirmed the signing of Divin Mubama on a season-long loan from Manchester City. Manchester City also confirmed the move on their official website.

Divin Mubama needs to be playing a higher level of football, and it will be fascinating to see how he performs in the Championship.

Divin Mubama made his first team debut for Manchester City last season. He also scored his first goal for the club in their 8-nil FA Cup tie win over Salford City last season. On that occasion, Mubama showed he has the talent and potential to play at the highest level. The problem Mubama, like many other Manchester City youngsters face, is that the City first team is incredibly tough to break into. Mubama has served his apprenticeship in the Manchester City EDS side and needs to be playing first-team football. He will now get that chance next season at Stoke City.

Playing in the Championship will aid Mubama’s development. It is a tough league and if the young striker can perform well for Stoke City it may set him up for a career at Manchester City or at the highest level. Mubama has the talent to become a serious player. He will now take the next step in his young career in England’s second tier.

How Divin Mubama performs will be worth keeping an eye on. He is a talented young striker with bags of talent and potential, plus he has the physical attributes to play in a tough league like the Championship. If he can begin fulfilling his potential at Stoke City next season it may set him up to one day become a member of the Manchester City first-team.
