Harry Kane had just 11 touches of the ball before being replaced by Thomas Müller with Bayern Munich 1-0 down against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga Topspiel. The Englishman was replaced after 33 minutes, sustaining an injury before heading straight down the tunnel.

It’s a blow for Bayern Munich who despite putting pressure on Dortmund in the opening 15 minutes, find themselves 1-0 down at the Westfalenstadion. Jamie Gittens scored his eighth goal across all competitions this season, his best tally yet.

The 20-year-old dummied the ball past Konrad Laimer, who is no slouch himself, before speeding past the Austrian and firing the ball past Manuel Neuer with his weaker left foot. It’s no less than Dortmund deserve with Nuri Sahin’s side playing with intensity in the final third, making forward runs and getting shots off at Neuer’s goal.

Whether or not they can take points off Bayern Munich, who are unbeaten this season, remains to be seen but it’s certainly positive from Dortmund, who have won each of their six Bundesliga games at home this season.
