Hansi Flick would welcome signing of winger offered to Barcelona | OneFootball

Barcelona have not given up hope of signing Nico Williams this summer, but at this stage, it’s very unlikely that the 22-year-old looks to leave Athletic Club. It could be time to consider other options, and one that has been offered to them is Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman.

Sky Germany (via Sport) have confirmed this news. The former Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus winger has no place in Bayern’s squad for the 2024-25 campaign, which is why a loan offer would be accepted. Given Barcelona’s inability to spend big due to the signing of Dani Olmo, it would be a very achievable deal.

The report states that Hansi Flick, who coached Coman during his time as Bayern manager, is highly appreciative of the Frenchman. It’s also noted that Barcelona would consider a move if they officially miss out on Williams – they may have to move quickly in that case, given that other clubs will surely be in contention.
