FC Barcelona have another crucial match awaiting them as they face Real Madrid in their upcoming La Liga game. This will be the fourth time the two sides face each other this season, and the Blaugranes emerged victorious in all of the other three games.
However, one can argue that this El Clasico is the most important one this season, as it can prove to be decisive for the La Liga race, as the two Spanish giants continue to vie for this title at this late stage of the season.
As a result, Hansi Flick will be looking to field his strongest side in this match. In this regard, he was reinforced by the return of two important players, Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro Balde, who continued to train with the team in the build-up to this match.
However, as Mundo Deportivo has noted, the German coach addressed a press conference and clarified that neither of these two players will start tomorrow, but they can play from the bench later in the game.
In this regard, the Blaugrana trainer said:
“At first, I don’t think I’ll be counting on them. I believe Gerard (Martín) and the rest of the players are doing very well, and after the injury, it’s slightly different… After this match, we have three more left… Maybe they’ll get some minutes in the second half.”

Thus, Hansi Flick will once again start this game without both of his starting fullbacks, as Jules Kounde is also out with an injury. However, their substitutes, Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin have not given many reasons to complain in their absence, and there is every reason to hope that they will once again put in a satisfactory performance tomorrow when they take on Real Madrid.
Still, Flick would be hoping to get these injured players back as soon as possible so the team can end the season in a strong fashion.
