Souleymane Faye leaves Real Betis and signs a four-year deal with Granada CF.

Granada CF officially announced the arrival of Souleymane Faye on Tuesday, July 8. The 22-year-old Senegalese forward joins the Andalusian club from Real Betis on a four-year contract.

The agreement between the two Andalusian clubs was finalized on Tuesday. Granada CF acquires 50% of the economic rights of the player, who was developed at Galaxy Dakar. This move marks Faye's return to a city he knows well, as he previously played for the club’s reserve side in 2022. That stint came as part of a loan from Senegal, during which he made 14 appearances for Recreativo Granada in the Segunda RFEF.

After this initial Andalusian experience, the forward continued his development at CF Talavera before joining Real Betis in July 2023. His time with the Verdiblancos proved particularly productive, as he netted 11 goals and provided 7 assists in 54 matches with the reserve team.
