Girona seal deal for Inter Milan talent | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Girona have on Tuesday tied up a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s academy ranks.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Daniel Curcio as the player in question.

Curcio, for his part, is a 16-year-old attacker, who generally lines out in a centre-forward role.

The starlet has been plying his trade on the books of Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan since all the way back in 2017, after joining from city rivals AC Milan.

As alluded to above, though, beginning this coming season, Curcio will test his talents back in Spain.

A youth international with La Roja’s U16s, the frontman has agreed to link up with high-flying Girona, on a permanent basis.

Curcio, despite being just 16, is expected to immediately link up with the U19s in Catalunya, a testament to his standout abilities.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Girona are set to sign Spanish striker Daniel Curcio (2008) for their Academy, joining from Inter U17. He’s joining Girona U19 with documents now signed.’
