The Bosnians, meanwhile, need to win both of their final matches to have any chance of avoiding the wooden spoon and relegation to League B. A mighty task, indeed.

Germany vs Bosnia – Nations League Match Preview

Form

Germany: LWDWW

Die Mannschaft are unbeaten since losing to Spain at Euro 2024, winning three and drawing one of their last four fixtures.

A 5-0 hammering of Hungary was followed by a 2-2 draw with Netherlands and a narrow win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their last match saw them beat the Dutch 1-0.

It’s been 13 months since Bosnia and Herzegovina last won an international game. The appointment of Sergej Barbarez in April has not seen an uptick in form.

The Balkan nation are yet to win under the one-time Bundesliga top scorer, losing five and drawing one. In the Nations League they have been beaten heavily by the Netherlands, drawn with Hungary, lost narrowly to Germany at home, and lost 2-0 to Hungary on their own patch.

Bosnia have never beaten Germany, who have won two of their meetings, the other one ending in a draw.
