AC Milan are looking to hire a new head coach in the summer, and it seems the choice will be an Italian. However, the market has changed a little this morning it seems.
There has not really been any stability with Milan this season, which was the most important thing for the season after Stefano Pioli’s exit. In the summer, when replacing him, things were uncertain and unstable.
Then, throughout Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao’s spells, there have been no differences and the Rossoneri have consistently rocked between bad, worse and ok – there have been good moments, but these have been just that, moments.
So, the Diavolo will again look for a new head coach this summer, and by all accounts, they will look for a domestic option with Massimiliano Allegri as the preferred option currently. However, the market seemingly is about to change.
There have been suggestions about Roberto Mancini in recent months, though there has been little weight to them, and it seems this option will be taken away with the coach set to join Juventus, as Gazzetta dello Sport (via Get Football News Italy) reports.
In fact, Thiago Motta is set to manage his final game for the Bianconeri against Genoa, with Mancini already agreeing to take over.
Considering the past that the management have with Motta, perhaps he could enter the mix of coaches to replace Conceicao.
