Galatasaray reportedly still haven’t given up hope of signing Hakan Calhanoglu this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Inter are holding firm on the €35-40 million asking price for the Turk.
There is certainly no doubt that Galatasaray are keen to sign Hakan Calhanoglu.
There are reports that the Turkish giants have already approached the 31-year-old. They have made clear to the player that they are ready to offer him a contract.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray have not made an offer to Inter yet. But they know that the Nerazzurri certainly won’t be letting Calhanoglu go for cheap.

There have been some rumours of Calhanoglu putting in his transfer request at Inter.
But at the same time, the denials have also emerged from within the Nerazzurri. They want to quash the rumours that the 31-year-old is pushing for the transfer.
In any event, the Gazzetta report, Inter won’t stand in the way of a move for Calhanoglu. But only for the right price.
The newspaper anticipate that the Nerazzurri will only sell the former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder if an offer of at least €35-40 million comes along.
Otherwise, Inter would have no issue keeping Hakan Calhanoglu within their squad.
Galatasaray are well aware of the obstacle that this valuation represents. But that doesn’t mean that they’ve given up trying to sign Calhanoglu by any means.
