Milan Škriniar has been relegated to a backup role at Paris Saint-Germain, with manager Luis Enrique opting for Willian Pacho and Marquinhos as his starting center-backs. It seems the veteran defender could be on his way out in the coming weeks.
Škriniar was linked with several clubs over the summer but chose to remain at PSG. However, with the January transfer window approaching, a move looks likely, with a return to Serie A, where he had great success with Inter Milan, seeming like a strong possibility.
In November, Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reported that Škriniar and Juventus have reached a verbal agreement. Talks are now underway between PSG and the Italian club over the transfer fee. However, there’s now a new suitor in the transfer race.

Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reports that Galatasaray are interested in signing Škriniar on loan with an option to buy, and PSG are open to the move.
Talks are ongoing over how his salary will be split. Meanwhile, a Serie A club has also made an offer, and the player is currently deciding on his next move.
It will be interesting to see whether Juventus revisit this file to ensure they land the veteran or perhaps the Turkish giants outmaneuver the Serie A side to secure the former Inter Milan standout.
As for how much the player could cost, Transfermarkt puts the player’s transfer value at €15 million.
