Serie A giants Napoli are about to lose Victor Osimhen this summer and Galatasaray’s interest in the striker is quickly growing.
The Nigerian spent the previous season on loan in Turkey and Gala are now pushing to sign him permanently.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Turkish side could now be willing to meet the €75 million release clause in an attempt to sign the player.
Osimhen’s release clause expires tomorrow and everyone’s objective is to resolve the situation as quickly as possible today. The forward is keen on returning to Gala and Napoli’s stance is clear – they want clubs to pay the release clause.
After it expires, the Partenopei will have the freedom to ask for a higher fee but everything comes down to them. Gala are pushing and yesterday, Turkish vice president Abdullah Kavukçu boarded a private flight bound for Milan to potentially speak about Osimhen.
There is an agreement over personal terms between the Turkish side and the player and if Gala do pay the €75 million, they want to spread the payment over four years. Napoli only want it in one installment or two.
George Gardi, who was involved in the loan deal last summer, is still present in the deal and it shows that Osimhen is certainly open to the move.
