Roma continues its search for reinforcements for the defensive department and, in addition to Bologna’s Jhon Lucumí, has set its sights on another South American profile.
The latest name linked with the Giallorossi is that of Leo Ortiz, central defender of Flamengo, who is also being closely followed by Juventus.

According to Ge.Globo both Italian clubs are closely monitoring the player’s situation.
Ortiz obtained an Italian passport in 2023, a factor that could facilitate his transfer to Serie A.
Flamengo, however, does not intend to let him leave easily: the Carioca club is aware of the interest but will not consider for now.
