Friendly: Inter beat Olympiacos 2-0 with Dimarco injury scare | OneFootball

Inter defeated Olympiacos 2-0 in tonight’s final pre-season friendly, with Federico Dimarco both scoring and injured, before Marcus Thuram rounded out the scoreline.

It was played at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari in front of over 40,000 spectators.

Former Como midfielder Gabriel Strefezza drilled just wide, but the Nerazzurri opened the scoring moments later when Thuram’s first-time pass sent Lautaro Martinez forward, he found Dimarco for a precise angled drive.

However, Dimarco sustained a thigh injury soon after and limped off the field after just 29 minutes, replaced by Luis Henrique.

Following a couple of Lautaro Martinez scoring opportunities, the Nerazzurri doubled their lead with Thuram, who was ready to meet the rebound from a parried Denzel Dumfries effort.
