AC Milan seemed to be a feature of France's second win in the Nations League, as they beat Israel 4-1 in Budapest. Deschamps' side gained the three points in a match which featured Mike Maignan between the sticks and Theo Hernández - who assisted the third goal, scored by Lazio player Guendouzi - with Youssouf Fofana coming on for Camavinga in the 70th minute. Les Bleus climb up to second spot, one point behind Group 2 leaders Italy: the Azzurri drew 2-2 in Rome against Belgium, in a match which Matteo Gabbia did not feature.

Hugo Cuenca stayed on the bench in the 0-0 draw between Ecuador and Paraguay in Quito (2026 World Cup Qualifier), but many Rossoneri featured in matches for the Azzurri youth teams. Torriani, Bakoune, Bartesaghi and Zeroli all started in the U20 Elite League match between Italy and England, which ended 2-1 to the visitors in Frosinone, while the friendly played in Ravenna between the U19 Azzurrini and U19 Wales side (finished 3-3), saw Francesco Camarda and Mattia Liberali among the goals, with the latter also managing to provide the assist for his Rossonero teammate.
