With less than a week remaining before the close of the summer transfer window, Juventus still have five issues to resolve, including the situations surrounding strikers Dusan Vlahovic, Randal Kolo Muani and defender Nicolo Savona.
The summer transfer window, closing on September 1 in Serie A, is now into its final stretch, although for some teams in Italy’s top flight, there is still plenty of work to do before then.
For Juventus, one of the biggest issues remains Vlahovic, who is into the final year of his contract, but is expected to cost Juventus in excess of €40m if he sticks around for another year.

That is due to the fact that he is due to earn €12m in net salary (around €22.2m gross), and could then walk away for free at the end of his contract, meaning that Juventus would miss out on a transfer fee this summer. Vlahovic is still worth just shy of €20m on Juventus’s books due to the €80m total transfer fee that the Bianconeri paid to sign him from Fiorentina.
Recent reports indicate that Milan, who are still in need of new attacking additions themselves, are still interested in a deal for the Serbia international.

Another ongoing issue for the Bianconeri attacking department is the transfer status of last season’s loanee Randal Kolo Muani, who is still in France with PSG, despite not being part of head coach Luis Enrique’s plans.
The Kolo Muani situation, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is purely influenced by financial factors, with suggestions that €50m will no longer be enough to free the Frenchman from the Parc des Princes.
It remains to be seen whether Juventus will be able to get a deal done with PSG before the close of the window.

One outgoing deal that could help Juventus on their way to making new signings is a sale of last summer’s recruit, Nico Gonzalez.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Argentine is still keen on a potential move to join Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, and that a deal with Atleti could be settled in the near future.
The Argentine is reportedly valued in the region of €25m-€30m by his current employers in Turin.

Another potential outgoing for the Bianconeri is Next Gen graduate Nicolo Savona, who was subject of a reported €12m bid from Premier League side Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
Juventus turned down the opening bid for Savona, with reports that they are holding out for a fee closer to €18m for the 22-year-old full-back.
Given that Savona is a product of Juventus’s academy, selling him for a fee would bring in a pure capital gain for the Bianconeri, and again, could help them on their way to making new additions before the close of the summer transfer window.
La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that it is not out of the question that fellow defender Lloyd Kelly leaves the club before the end of the window, amidst reports of interest from Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Sunderland.
