West Hamâs travelling fans couldnât believe what they were watching when they were torn apart by Chelsea in Sundayâs London derby at Stamford Bridge.
And the home supporters were probably rubbing their eyes in disbelief at times too, as four different goalscorers saw Mauricio Pochettinoâs side race into a 4-0 lead after just 48 minutes.
Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson were the scorers as the Blues cruised towards victory, prompting âolesâ from the home fans and sending many away fans heading for the exit.
It is the second time in as many away games that the Hammers faithful have headed home early, after a 5-2 hammering across London a fortnight ago.
Meanwhile, Jackson has now scored in his last three home matches, taking his tally to 16 goals for the season, and it could yet be a happy ending to a disappointing season for the west Londoners.
