Noah Darvich, the talented midfielder who recently signed with Stuttgart, has shared heartfelt thoughts about his time at Barcelona in an interview on the German club’s website.
The German U-19 international described his experience in Barcelona as something straight out of a dream. “It was a great adventure. It was like being part of a movie.
“I got to play and train with my childhood idols. I also received a lot of support from other players, which was great. The time I spent abroad also made me mature as a person,” Darvich said.
The 18-year-old midfielder has signed a long-term contract with Stuttgart, keeping him at the Bundesliga club until 2029.
Darvich arrived at Barcelona in the summer of 2023 from SC Freiburg, and although his time with the Catalan giants was short, it clearly left a lasting impression on him both as a footballer and as a person.
Alongside his interview, Darvich also posted a heartfelt farewell message on social media to thank everyone who supported him during his time in Spain. He wrote,
“Hello culers, as you’ve already seen, it’s time to say goodbye to this great club. I arrived when I was only 16 years old, and after 2 years, I’m leaving Barça.
“I fulfilled a childhood dream of wearing the Barça shirt. I’ve decided to take a different path now, but I will always be grateful for those two years as a Blaugrana player.”
He continued by expressing gratitude for the people who stood by him: “Thanks to all the people who have been by my side, through thick and thin.
“Above all, thanks to my family who have made all this possible and who have always supported me. Thanks, culers!”
Now back in Germany, Darvich hopes to kickstart his professional career at Stuttgart, where he will aim to turn his potential into success on the senior stage.
