Ever since the times when the fashion industry was just beginning to emerge, and the heads of top fashion houses were on the verge of opening their brands (Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, and the rest), Italy has been a trendsetter, so the Italians have a special sense of beauty in their blood.

According to observations, they pay attention not only to colours but also to shades. It is rare to see open red or just blue in Italian football teams; there will always be a play with halftones and colour schemes. Let’s move on to the jerseys themselves.

To choose the favourites, many factors played a role here: promo, advertising campaign, positioning, and the availability of a uniform for the 2025-26 season, since not all Serie A clubs have yet presented their new game kits.

Discussions around club branding often spill over into academic settings. When tackling a football fashion topic, many turn to an essay writing service, but it is not a shortcut. It is a way to manage workload, seek structural guidance, or better understand academic formatting requirements.

S.S. Lazio & Mizuno

The new Lazio home kit is made in the traditional sky-blue colour. Quite simple and laconic white trim on the collar and cuffs. Almost classic, you can even wear it to the office, but not everything is as simple as it may seem at first glance. At the top of the back is a modest inscription, “9 gennaio 1900” – the historical date of the club’s foundation.

Most importantly, Mizuno was inspired by Michelangelo’s Roman masterpiece, the paving of the Piazza del Campidoglio, transforming the shape into a true work of art.

Where is it, you ask? The pattern of the square is embossed onto the jersey and is only visible when looking at it up close. Of course, Lazio had embossing on their jersey in the 2024/25 season, but the incredible print with the Capitoline Square is a complete delight. The “Eagles” are an absolute favourite.

Bologna FC 1909 & Macron

The home kit is made in the traditional colours of Bologna – rich red and deep blue. The sleeves are classic set-in, but the neckline on the back is not usually designed (they added a white, contrasting piping). The jacquard weave is also interesting upon closer inspection; it is without a bright texture, but nevertheless pleasing to the eye. The main feature is that they added a three-colour cockade of the Italian Cup winner in the center.

Parma Calcio 1913 & Puma

Parma’s new home kit was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the club’s debut in Serie A. This time, Puma wasn’t particularly creative, the same minimalist black cross in the center, without any accents. But the polo-style knit collar and sleeve cuffs, made with the addition of blue and yellow, are a small thing, but nice. This kit has a certain retro vibe, thanks to the popularity of blokecore for that.
