Real Madrid have established themselves as the kings of the UEFA Champions League. They stand out from the rest simply through the knack of finding ways to win games.
Their record of having lifted 15 European titles does not imply that they played the best football in all those years but simply that they knew how to win even from completely lost positions.
The winning mentality, needless to say, is something that runs in the blood of the dressing room. However, it would also not be possible without the right boost from the administration.
As relayed in a recent update by MARCA, Florentino Perez and Real Madrid believe in rewarding players for the titles they bring home and the magnitude of their prize sums depends on the silverware they lift.

That, coupled with the success in the Spanish Super Cup and La Liga saw Los Blancos hand out a staggering €40 million in bonuses to players.
The story could be even better this season for the men in white for they have already won two titles in the form of the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
They may have lost the Supercopa de Espana but Real Madrid are still in the running for the Champions League, the Copa del Rey, and La Liga.
The Spanish outlet also bring to light that the administration have placed extra emphasis on the FIFA Club World Cup set to be played later this year in the United States for it is the only trophy they do not have in their cabinet.
Perez and Co. will thus offer close to €650,000 per player to bring home that title, a staggering amount that will motivate the dressing room to give their all despite the hectic schedule.
All in all, Real Madrid may end up paying out a sum of €80 million in prizes this year, double their expenditure last term. Notably, however, the club will receive over €265 million if they do win the UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup.
