Florent Ghisolfi on Svilar, Paredes renewals: “We’re moving forward.” | OneFootball

Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi shared an update on the situation surrounding the contract renewals of Mile Svilar and Leandro Paredes.

In an interview with Sky Sport, Ghisolfi said, “We’re moving forward with both renewals.”

“But I don’t like to talk about these individual topics before important matches like this one. It will be very difficult and we are focused on this,” he added a few minutes prior to kick-off with Como.

On Matias Soule, the French executive noted, “We have had many offers but we believe in him. He has done well in the last matches and I hope he will do the same today. He has enormous potential, Roma is not an easy place to show off but step by step….”

“Our final placement in the league will be important for the summer transfer budget. We have two competitions and we don’t want to give up anything, we’ll do our best.”

On the next coach, Ghisolfi said, “We are not in a hurry, we have time and we want to make the right choice. And we also want to keep the focus on the present.”
