May is here and we're into the final stretch of a dramatic Serie A campaign.
Here are five reasons to tune in this weekend.
Inter are in a very precarious position as a season that promised so much at the turn of the year threatens to end in disastrous disappointment.
Simone Inzaghi's men appeared to be serious contenders for a potential quadruple but after city rivals Milan sent them packing in both the Supercoppa Italiana and Coppa Italia, they are now facing a tricky conclusion in Serie A and the Champions League.
Their domestic form has uncharacteristically faltered so much in recent weeks that they now find themselves three points behind Napoli with four games to play and this weekend's clash with Hellas Verona comes sandwiched between two huge European encounters with Barcelona.
After the semi-final first leg on Wednesday in Spain ended 3-3, it leaves the tie very much up for grabs and with fatigue a very real concern, will Inzaghi ring in the changes again in Serie A to keep things fresh for Europe? And will it prove a costly call?
A big factor in Napoli's resurgence in April to haul themselves back into the title race has been the performances of Scott McTominay, who is already a big hero to the Partenopei faithful.
In mid-April, he scored a crucial brace in a 3-0 win over Empoli, followed that up with the lone goal in a narrow win at Monza thanks to a brave header and last time out, again netted the only goals in a 2-0 victory against Torino.
The Scotland star's goals have moved his side into the box seat in the title race and have resulted in fans even attending games wearing kilts in his honour - and if he keeps his scoring streak up he could move into some exalted company.
In the 21st century, only one other Napoli midfielder has scored double figures in a single Serie A season - the iconic Marek Hamšík, with his best season seeing him score 12 - a tally that McTominay is just one behind. Will he overtake him against Lecce?
Just one point separates Juventus in fourth and Bologna in fifth ahead of their meeting at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara this weekend in a decisive duel for Champions League football next season.
After losing their coach - who has come and gone with the Old Lady - and star players last summer, the Felsinei have defied all expectations to be in the hunt to qualify for Europe's premier club competition again next season and could propel themselves back into the qualification positions with a victory.
However, they will be all too aware that a win for the Old Lady could move them out of sight with so little time remaining (and don't forget about Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina who are all lying in wait to pounce on any slip-ups).
Juventus will be buoyed by the fact that they are unbeaten in their last 25 Serie A games against Bologna which is their longest current undefeated streak in the top flight. Can the Rossoblu do something they haven't done since 2011 and set up a nail-biting finale to the season?
As if Bologna-Juventus and the significance that has in the chase for Champions League football wasn't exciting enough, we also have two other contenders facing off this weekend.
Roma play host to Fiorentina, with the Giallorossi just two points behind Juventus in fourth ahead of kick-off and their opponents on Sunday evening lurking just one place behind them.
This is set to have serious ramifications for both the top four battle and overall European places picture, with five teams fighting it out for just three places in the respective continental competitions next season.
Roma are riding the longest unbeaten run in any of the big five European leagues (now stretching back 18 games) but Fiorentina are unbeaten in their last four Serie A meetings and having won October's clash 5-1, are aiming to do a double over the Lupi for only the second time in the last 60 years!
Christian Pulisic has happy memories of his one and only visit to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris previously, netting the only goal of the game in a win over Genoa in October 2023.
He found the net last weekend at Venezia to move onto double figures for the season - having again been one of Milan's positives in a turbulent campaign.
Should he score again at the Marassi this time, he would become the first Milan player who did not play as a central attacker to score more than 10 goals in his first two seasons since Luciano Chiaruigi - who did so in 1972/73 and 1973/74.
It seems inevitable that he will hit those heights.
