Fiorentina and Pisa set to reach an agreement for M’Bala Nzola next week | OneFootball

Serie A side Fiorentina are in final-stage talks with newly promoted side Pisa for the transfer of M’Bala Nzola.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, Pisa are set to finalise a loan deal for Angolan striker M’Bala Nzola by Tuesday. A consensus between the clubs is expected to be reached over the weekend.

The Viola wanted to keep the 28-year-old forward in their squad for the upcoming campaign, but the player remained keen for an experience elsewhere.

Pisa are set to pay €1 million to Fiorentina for a season-long loan deal of the player. They will also have the option to buy him for around €5-6 million.

Fiorentina are asking Pisa to contribute a significant percentage of Nzola’s salary since they do not want any financial constraints to obstruct them from imminent deals.

Nzola spent last season on loan to French Ligue 1 side Lens, scoring six goals and assisting once across 22 appearances in all competitions.
