After a terrific campaign that saw them dominate La Liga, Barcelona will look to regroup once again and duplicate the feat next season.

Barcelona’s success, after all, came on the back of low expectations, with very few betting against Real Madrid at the start of last season.

However, despite the odds being against them, Barcelona were able to pull off one of their best seasons in recent memory to seal the title by four points while beating Real Madrid four times across all competitions.

Fans make fun of polls favouring Real Madrid

Barcelona’s sheer dominance in Spanish football, though, apparently wasn’t enough to woo the critics, who are once again expecting Real Madrid to win the title next season.

According to Score 90, Real Madrid are favourites to win the league title next season, with 47% probability.

Barcelona are second by a long margin, with a win probability of 38%, while Atletico Madrid are third favourite with 9%.

This poll, of course, hasn’t been taken seriously by Barcelona fans, who took to social media to troll the results.

Fans, in fact, have started making fun of the poll, with one user posting a screenshot of last season’s polls, which heavily favoured Real Madrid.

About 86% of the voters had tipped Real Madrid to win the title, but the result ended up being very different.

The same polls are now once again expecting Real Madrid to clinch the title, under the leadership of new coach Xabi Alonso.

Barcelona, though, are looking stronger than ever and it won’t be surprising to see Hansi Flick’s men dominate La Liga once again next season.
