Following the success of our Matchday Bus Network, Manchester City are pleased to trial a new Express Bus Service for fans travelling to and from home matches. The three dedicated buses will be operated and managed by Transport for Greater Manchester (TFGM) and the trial will commence at the Crystal Palace fixture on Saturday 12 April.

The service will continue to operate for all home matches until the end of the 2024/25 season and will depart from the following convenient locations across Manchester:

MC103 Manchester Piccadilly Station – Ashton New Road

MC102 Printworks (Manchester Victoria) – Ashton New Road

MC101 Booth Street West – Connell College

Tickets will be priced at £2 per journey. One bus will operate from each location, and there will be space for an average of 90 fans per bus which must be pre-booked.

The booking system can be found here. And tickets can be booked from 11:00 (UK) on Tuesday 8 April.

The express buses will add to our existing active travel offerings, making travelling to matches easier and increasingly affordable for fans while encouraging the use of public transport, to reduce congestion and emissions in and around Manchester.

In addition to the Booth Street West service, we are also pleased to offer fans a discounted price on parking within the Booth Street carpark – which can be booked here.

Detailed information about the routes and the timings can be found on our dedicated Travel & Transport Hub as well as TFGM’s website.

Meanwhile, existing services such as the Matchday Bus Network and private bus hire systems will not be impacted by the trial and are expected to continue as usual.
