The Israeli spent last term on loan at Leeds and helped the Whites to secure the Championship title and a spot back in the Premier League as a result.

He has been linked with a return to Leeds this summer, while Marseille also showed interest in a possible deal before ruling themselves out.

Solomon would prefer to be playing in the Premier League next season, his agent has admitted, but where that will be is still open to question.

The winger is set to start pre-season at Tottenham and is willing to wait before his future is decided, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

With a new manager at the Tottenham helm in the shape of Thomas Frank, Solomon will have a chance to win him over.

The Israel international could still potentially remain with Tottenham into next season.

He played a key role in Leeds’ successful campaign and proved himself to be a real goal threat in the Championship.

He was though warned in April by a former Leeds star that he needs to track back in games.

Frank will surely want to see work ethic going in both directions from Solomon if he is to keep him around at Tottenham into the new season.

Spurs are set to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on a permanent basis which will mean more competition for places in the final third for Solomon.

Leeds are likely to keep a close watch on the situation in north London given how Solomon did at Elland Road, but the jury is out on whether they will be able to get him back.
