Inter Milan are really feeling the pressure in the Serie A title race with Napoli, as every match is now a “must-win” encounter.
This is the view in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Napoli’s win over Juventus yesterday clarified things in the Serie A title race more than ever.
The Partneopei have now beaten Atalanta and Juventus back to back.
There is no denying that Napoli will be extremely formidable title rivals for Inter.
Atalanta could still say they are in the race. But La Dea are hanging on by a thread.
After yesterday’s results, Inter are six points behind Napoli. For the time being.
The Nerazzurri have two games in hand on the Partenopei temporarily. They face Lecce away this evening, and then they will have to make up their postponed outing against Fiorentina.

As such, Inter’s fate is still very much in their own hands. They have the chance to catch up to Napoli in the table.
But the Campanian team have made it clear just how tough this is going to be.
With Napoli not having slipped up since a Serie A loss to Lazio in December, Inter are going to have to match them step for step.
That means that there are virtually no matches in which the Nerazzurri can afford to drop points.
Inter will feel that there is no option but to beat Lecce this evening.
Then, next month, it is a brutal sequence for Inter. They face the likes of AC Milan, Fiorentina (twice, including the makeup match), and Juventus.
And then there is a Coppa Italia quarterfinal clash with Lazio. Napoli, meanwhile, are out of the cup.
Therefore, Inter Milan will feel that they have a very tough task ahead of them keeping pace with the league leaders.
