Everton booked their place in the last 16 of the Women’s FA Cup with a 3-0 win away to Aston Villa in Saturday’s only fixture from the competition.
Scorers: Olesen 58′, Snoeijs 80′, (PEN) 87′
After a scoreless first half, Hannah Bennison came close to giving the Toffees the lead, only to see her effort denied by the woodwork.
But on 58 minutes, the deadlock was broken for the crucial opener as Karoline Olesen swept high into the net with a fine finish after being picked out in the centre of the area to net her first goal for the club.
And with 10 minutes left to play, Everton put the result beyond doubt through Katja Snoeijs as new recruit Kathrine Kühl, whose arrival was only confirmed earlier in the day, played a part in the ball making its way to the Dutch forward to find the corner of the net.
Snoeijs then ensured her side finished with a flourish by adding a third from the penalty spot.
The rest of the games from the fourth round take place on Sunday.
