Evan Ndicka: “I made a step forward with Roma.” | OneFootball

Roma defender Evan Ndicka reflected on the lessons he’s learned since moving to Italy’s top flight from Frankfurt.

In an interview with BFM RMC, Ndicka commented, “I feel good mentally and physically.”

“Last year I also felt good, but as Ghisolfi said, I needed time to adapt to Serie A, the game is different in one-on-one.”

“In Germany there’s much more space in front of you. Here, however, the intensity is less. The teams interrupt the game a lot. It takes a bit more concentration. You are much closer to the goal. It is all this that then, in some games, the work is much more individual, it depends on the single player.”

“This is what allowed me to understand everything a bit. It took a bit of time, but that’s okay. It was time for me to take the step forward.”
