Manchester City superstars Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish were among the Premier League champions’ players to meet with icons of the Shrek franchise on Monday.

Pep Guardiola’s squad have now travelled south along the east coast of the United States this week following several days in New York City, including their second pre-season contest of their 2024 US tour.

In another enthralling contest, this time against Serie A giants AC Milan, Manchester City’s stars took on yet more invaluable game time, but fell to a narrow 2-3 defeat at the iconic Yankee Stadium in the north of the city.

Goals from Erling Haaland and James McAtee had Manchester City close to taking victory on two occasions, but a stern fight back from the Italian club meant Guardiola and his players continue in their search of a first win ahead of the 2024/25 season.

City will take on two more friendly clashes in the USA this summer, with La Liga giants and former club of manager Pep Guardiola, FC Barcelona awaiting at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, before a clash against Premier League rivals Chelsea is hosted by Columbus, Ohio.

As Manchester City gear up for their third pre-season friendly of their tour of the United States, Monday has seen a lucky few members of Pep Guardiola’s squad meet with characters of the Shrek movie series at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
