FULL TIME: ENGLAND 2-1 ITALY

Kelly makes an impact again in extra time by tapping in the winner that sends England to a third consecutive major final. It's heartbreak for the Azzurre who were moments away from ending their 27-year wait to reach a EUROs final.

Italy have a free-kick in the closing seconds inside their own half. They have to launch this forward for one last go at an equaliser.

One minute to go and Italy are pushing forward.

GOAL ENGLAND

Kelly misses the original penalty as Giuliani saves, but the Arsenal forward sprints in to make sure she can apply the finish and send England in front!

Chloe Kelly takes the ball and will step up for this spot-kick...

PENALTY ENGLAND

Beth Mead tumbles in the area under a challenge from Severini and the referee awards a penalty.

CHANCE ENGLAND!

Agyemang controls a long ball forward in the box and tries to lob Giuliani and her effort crashes off the crossbar.

Agyemang accidentally handballs after the corner and Italy get a chance to relieve the pressure.

Kelly races down the right wing and wins England another corner. Can the Lionesses make use of this one?

Arianna Caruso is on set-piece duties...but sends it straight to Hampton.

Italy have a free-kick in a promising position after Bronze clatters into Emma Severini.

Toone's cross almost reaches Agyemang but Cecilia Salvai diverts with a deft touch.

SECOND HALF BEGINS

Into the last 15 minutes in Geneva.

What an impact Agyemang has had in her short England career.

England try to get crosses in again, with Kelly sending hers long to Hemp, who sends one back into the box, but it's collected by Giuliani.

The tempo has gone out of the game slightly with England once again controlling possession.

Kelly drifts past three Italian defenders and steadies herself to shoot. She's slightly off balance though and can't find the top corner.

CHANCE ENGLAND

Hemp's cross pinballs around the six yard box before Julie Piga finally thumps the ball clear and away from danger. That could have gone anywhere.

EXTRA TIME BEGINS

Can England or Italy come up with a winner in the next 30 minutes?

Two goals in two for the England and Arsenal teenager.

FULL TIME: ENGLAND 1-1 ITALY

Michelle Agyemang rescues England's EUROs title defence with a 96th-minute equaliser. Extra time to come!

Beever-Jones heads just wide from Bronze's dangerous in the final seconds.

GOAL ENGLAND!!

Michelle Agyemang reacts first to a loose ball, takes an excellent first touch and lashes low into the Italian net through a swarm of defenders! Another England comeback at the death!!

But Kelly can't beat the near post with her corner and Italy have a goal kick.

Hannah Hampton goes up for it!

Corner to England as Walsh's shot is deflected wide.

Elisabetta Oliviero gets Italy out of their own penalty area, drives about 60 yards up the pitch and lashes over the crossbar from distance. An admirable run in the dying stages!

Seven minutes of injury time to go....

More England cross bombard the Italy area, but the Azzurre are holding incredibly firm and clearing everything away.

CHANCE ITALY!

Hampton produces a brave save to prevent Emma Severini, who shoots from point blank range inside the six-yard area.

More changes for England as Michelle Agyemang and Aggie Beever-Jones come on for Leah Williamson and Alessia Russo.

CHANCE ENGLAND!

Bronze has the freedom to attack a Kelly corner and her header is blocked inside the six-yard box.

Martina Piemonte meets a cross with a strong header that goes over the crossbar.

England's impact sub from the Sweden game, Chloe Kelly, is on for Georgia Stanway. The Arsenal attacker has 13 minutes to provide a moment of inspiration for the Lionesses.

Arianna Caruso spots Hampton off her line but gets her angles wrong from a long way out and shoots wide.

CHANCE ENGLAND

Hemp knocks Lucy Bronze's cross into the path of Russo, who slides in and sets her shot wide of the post.

Giuliani is booked for time-wasting when taking her goal kicks.

Toone controls on the egde of the area but rushes her shot and pulls wide.

Three England shots pepper the Italian goal before the referee stops play as the ball went out of play. A thoroughly enjoyable and chaotic passage of play that one!

Italy's top scorer Cristiana Girelli comes off after a strong collision. She's replaced by Martina Piemonte.

England continue to get crosses into the box and Greenwood's flick on is mis-controlled by Hemp just outside the six-yard area. The Lionesses are pushing hard for an equaliser in Geneva!

BIG CHANCE ENGLAND!

Hemp is free at the back post to meet a deep cross into the box but can't keep her header down and nods harmlessly over the bar.

England try to carve out a chance and Greenwood lashes a pretty unthreatening shot high into the sky that Giuliani gathers comfortably.

Lauren James comes off for England due to an injury and Beth Mead is her replacement.

SECOND HALF

Here we go for the second 45. Can England claw back? Or will Italy reach their first final since 1997?

HALF TIME: ENGLAND 0-1 ITALY

Bonansea's well-taken finish is the difference at the break and Italy hold a slender lead.

Corner for Italy late in the first half after Alex Greenwood mis-judges a loose ball in the area.

It was a very composed finish from Bonansea from close range.

Keira Walsh whips a dangerous cross into the six-yard box. It evades everyone and almost ends up in the net.

CHANCE ENGLAND!

James goes close again with a curling effort from the edge of the area that's watched all the way by Giuliani.

GOAL ITALY!

A low cross bounces through England's penalty area, lands perfectly for Barbara Bonansea, who controls and lashes into the net from close range.

England are really looking to cause havoc down the left wing and Hemp tries to drive into the box but is snubbed out by a wall of Italian defenders.

Italy manage to get forward on the counter but Martina Lenzini can't utilse space on the right and sends her cross out of play.

England continue to push for the opener and Hemp heads well wide from James' floated cross.

BIG CHANCE ENGLAND!

Alessia Russo controls with her back towards goal inside the Italy area. She manages to swivel and get a shot away but it flies inches past the bottom corner. Best chance of the game!

Italy have started to get a foothold in the game and are moving the ball around with a decent tempo. However, James' sighter at goal remains the only half chance so far in the opening 15.

CHANCE ENGLAND!

Lauren James fires Lauren Hemp's low cross towards goal and Laura Giuliani holds comfortably.

Oooh, a bit of a nervy moment for Hannah Hampton, who races out to intercept a long ball forward. She just about judges it correctly and scoops up the ball inside her own penalty area.

England have had most of the possession in the early stages as they probe for a way through the well-organised Italian defence. No joy as yet for the European champions.

KICK OFF

And the first Women's EUROs semi-final is underway in Geneva!

The teams are heading out onto the pitch and we're just moments away from kick-off.
