Attentions turn to the Emirates FA Cup this weekend, as Leeds United host Millwall in Saturday’s Fourth Round clash, with action from Elland Road getting underway at 12:15pm.

The Whites secured progression to this stage of the prestigious competition with a victory over local rivals Harrogate Town on home soil in the Third Round.

With the Sulphurites putting on an impressive display, a Largie Ramazani header on the hour mark proved the difference for Daniel Farke’s side at the start of January.

In the Sky Bet Championship, United have been in scintillating form as of late, emphatically winning their previous two matches to extend the team’s long unbeaten run.

Cardiff City were the last team to visit Elland Road where, in Leeds’ biggest victory since 1972, the South Wales outfit were dismantled 7-0, with six different players getting on the scoresheet for the Whites!

During the week, Farke’s men cruised to victory over Frank Lampard’s Coventry City with a 2-0 triumph in the Midlands, thanks to goals from Joël Piroe and Jayden Bogle.

Millwall booked their spot in the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup with a professional display to beat non-league rivals Dagenham & Redbridge 3-0, with Casper De Norre grabbing a brace at The Den.

Since parting company with Neil Harris, the Lions have enjoyed a recent upturn in form under new boss Alex Neil, winning their last three matches in the league to move up to 14th in the Championship standings.

The Whites have pedigree in the competition, famously winning the centenary edition of the tournament back in 1972, thanks to Allan Clarke’s winner against Arsenal at Wembley.

Despite never lifting the FA Cup, Millwall are no strangers to progressing deep into the competition, notably reaching the 2004 final whilst still a second-tier side.

Action from Elland Road gets underway at 12:15pm.
