Eintracht Frankfurt show interest in Liverpool’s Wataru Endo | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt have shown interest in Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo, as reported by Florian Plettenberg.

The 32-year-old Japanese international is allowed to leave the Premier League side this summer, with several teams in the Bundesliga lining up to potentially sign him.

Frankfurt have already made an inquiry about Endo, but he is just one name being considered by the Eagles.

Endo has ample experience both within Europe with Liverpool and in the Bundesliga, having already played over 100 times in the competition for VfB Stuttgart.

Though Frankfurt have inquired about Endo, he currently isn’t the club’s top priority this summer.

This is largely due to the overall financial package being too expensive for the Eagles.

Endo has been surplus to requirements at Liverpool this season as Arne Slot’s men close in on the Premier League title. Endo has only played 14 times in the Premier League under Slot, often as a substitute.
