Eintracht Frankfurt in talks with Franjo Ivanović’s entourage | OneFootball

Sacha Tavolieri reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks with the entourage of Union SG striker Franjo Ivanović (21) as a potential replacement for Hugo Ekitiké.

Ivanović scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 34 appearances for Union SG last season as the Brussels club went on to lift their first league title since 1935. The Croat only joined the club in 2024 from HNK Rijeka for €4m, and his performances has since resulted in a call up to the national team, where he has scored two goals in four games since earning his first cap in March 2025.

Eintracht Frankfurt are naturally searching for a successor to Ekitiké, who scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 33 Bundesliga games last season. The Frenchman is expected to leave the Hessen club either this summer or next, but Eintracht remain adamant that they want around €100m for the 23-year-old, with Liverpool showing significant interest.
