In an interview with Sport BILD, Bayern Munich's Max Eberl revealed how the Bavarians' envisaged their attacking setup for 2025/26.
“We had a clear idea of our new attacking line," explained the club's director of sport, when speaking to journalist Christian Falk.
“When I imagine, for example, a quartet with Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, and now Luis Díaz on the pitch, we certainly have one of the most dangerous attacking lines in Europe,” he smiled.
The Bundesliga champions faced a lot of criticism over summer for a supposed inability to attract the world's biggest stars to the club.
However, the 51-year-old had no issue in telling the naysayers that they simply couldn't grasp the nature of the modern day transfer window.
“From the experience during the discussions, I can say: Anyone who claims that FC Bayern has lost its international appeal for top stars, don't know the market.
“FC Bayern will get any player if they are willing to pay the asking price. But we only do that if we are 100% convinced, as in the case of Luis Díaz,” he added.
