Eberechi Eze is in the England squad for the first time, as reported by The Athletic.
The 24-year-old creative midfielder has made 39 appearances this season for Crystal Palace, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists.
His 10 Premier League goals is his best tally in a Premier League campaign, scoring four in his first season of Premiership football, and only one in his second season.
Since Roy Hodgson joined The Eagles on March 21st, Eze has scored six goals in nine games. Clearly the arrival of the 75-year-old has invigorated the form and confidence of the young Englishman.
His improved output in front of goal is clearly what has earned Eze his first senior international call up, and he will be keen to impress.
England will face Malta (a) and North Macedonia (h) during the international break, with the first game for The Three Lions coming on the 16th of June.
