Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno has reached a full agreement over personal terms with Napoli, including the €70m release clause, and will sign on Thursday.

The two clubs had already agreed a transfer fee worth €35m plus €5m in add-ons, as the Italy international only had his sights on Naples, despite some interest from Inter, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur.

The medical was expected on Monday or today, but as ever with Napoli, the contract negotiations take a little longer to work out the minute details, including image rights.
