Portugal have been hit with a key squad blow on Wednesday ahead of their upcoming European Championship qualifiers.
According to multiple reports in the region, goalkeeper Diogo Costa picked up a muscle injury and has been forced to leave camp.

The 23-year-old was emerging as the go-to man in-between the sticks for the Seleção, but now new manager Roberto Martínez must look elsewhere for his first match in charge.
Vitória Guimarães goalkeeper Celton Biai has replaced Costa in the squad, but the 22-year-old has yet to break into the senior team. Former starting goalkeeper Rui Patricio and José Sá are the other choices.
Portugal face Liechtenstein on Thursday and then Luxembourg on 26 March.
