Manchester United take on Everton in today’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils played out a 1-1 league draw at Ipswich Town last weekend. This was followed by a 3-2 comeback win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

Manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that he will rotate his players once more. He will likely make at least three changes from the hard-fought victory on Thursday.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has been superb in goal, making several key saves this term. The Cameroonian star is an undisputed starter for United ahead of Altay Bayindir.

The central defence should stay the same. Noussair Mazraoui has been a revelation on the right side of the back three, and there is no reason to change his role.

Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez are expected to partner the Moroccan. De Ligt was the weak link against Bodo/Glimt, and he must step up with his performance.

Antony and Tyrell Malacia barely offered an attacking threat from the wing-back spots. The latter was easily outrun for Bodo/Glimt’s second goal on Thursday night.

Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot are poised to replace them on the flanks.

Amorim could stick with the same midfield combination. Manuel Ugarte has started to find his feet in recent games, and he was superb as the holding midfielder in midweek.

The Uruguayan provided a sublime cross for Rasmus Hojlund’s winning strike. Bruno Fernandes could start in a deeper role once more after receiving huge praise from Amorim.

The Portuguese has largely played as the number ten but could be a regular in the number eight role going forward. This would allow Mason Mount to get into the starting XI.

Mount is accustomed to playing as an inverted forward after working in a similar formation at Chelsea.

As part of Amorim’s rotation, Alejandro Garnacho could be given a breather. Marcus Rashford may start alongside Mount, with Rasmus Hojlund leading the attack once more.

Hojlund netted twice in the midweek victory over Bodo/Glimt and deserves to lead the line.
