Milan have decided to step up their chase of Kyle Walker and are ready to send Manchester City an opening bid tonight.
The Rossoneri can only sign one non-EU player this January and shifted their focus to the Citizens’ veteran after learning they wouldn’t be able to meet the conditions set by Manchester United to bring compatriot Marcus Rashford to the San Siro.

While they initially hoped to sign the 34-year-old as a free agent, the Premier League giants made it clear they were unwilling to terminate his contract, prompting the Diavolo to assess an offer for the club as well.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan are likely to contact Manchester City today to offer them a loan deal for the next six months, which would include an option to buy to make the move permanent in the summer.

Reports on Monday suggested that the Rossoneri are extremely confident about reaching an agreement soon, to the extent that they already booked Walker’s medical tests at the private clinic La Madonnina in Milan for either Tuesday or Wednesday.
