Ousmane Dembélé is amazed to meet his compatriot Marcus Thuram in a Champions League Final between PSG and Inter: ‘I already told him, it will be won by one of us.’
Inter and PSG meet in the Champions League Final at the Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31.
It’s a reunion between France strikers Dembélé and Thuram, who have massively contributed to reaching the coveted European Final.
“It’s my first Champions League final, and I want to enjoy it. The entire club is hungry for this victory,” Dembélé said during PSG’s media day via Bein Sports.
“We don’t change our habits. Whether it’s a league match or a final, we approach it the same way.”

Asked about the reunion with Inter forward Thuram, Dembélé replied: “We talk every day. I already told him—this final will be won by one of us. It’s amazing we’re meeting on this stage.”
Dembélé has scored 33 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions this season, including eight in 14 Champions League appearances.
Thuram has netted 18 times in 47 matches with Inter, scoring four Champions League goals in 13 appearances.
The upcoming Champions League Final will be the first one for both Dembélé and Thuram. The Inter striker, in fact, was still not part of the team when the Nerazzurri in 2023 against Manchester City.
