Dean Huijsen’s most likely Real Madrid jersey number | OneFootball

The squad number expected to be taken by incoming Real Madrid signing Dean Huijsen has on Monday been revealed.

Defender Huijsen of course sealed a dream move to Real Madrid last month, after Los Blancos agreed to meet the release clause in his contract with Bournemouth.

Despite his tender years, the one-time Juventus talent will be expected to play a prominent role in the squad of new boss Xabi Alonso in 2025/26, already garnering lofty expectations when it comes to his performances over the years ahead.

Huijsen is yet to actually be presented as a Real player in front of the media, owing to his international commitments with Spain at the Nations League.

As much has been pencilled in for tomorrow, Tuesday June 10th.

And as alluded to above, 24 hours prior, an insight into the jersey number most likely to be held up by the 20-year-old at the Santiago Bernabéu has been forthcoming.

As per Blancos insider Guillermo Rai:

‘Dean Huijsen is expected to be presented tomorrow as a new Real Madrid player -the number 24 is an option for the defender.’

This number could later be changed, though, following the conclusion of the Club World Cup.
