David Silva says ‘amazing’ Barcelona player is astonishing the football world | OneFootball

FC Barcelona had a 2024-25 season to remember as Hansi Flick arrived to bring the Blaugrana team back to the summit of European football and make them inarguably the best team in Spain.

Several players also took advantage of the German coach’s arrival to take their game a notch up, and had a very good season as they helped the Catalan team win the Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup, and the La Liga titles.

The one player who stood out the most in this team was, without a doubt, the young winger Lamine Yamal, who proved himself to be one of the best players in his position in the world, despite still only being 17 years of age.

The youngster enjoyed praise from all over the world with his performances, even from the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo recently, and now, with it being several weeks till the end of the season, he is still being spoken highly of by some of the most notable personalities in football.

The latest individual to praise the Barcelona star was the former Spanish midfielder David Silva, who was a part of the Golden Spanish generation that won two UEFA EURO titles and the 2012 World Cup.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, he recently appeared in an interview where he spoke about Lamine Yamal, describing him as an ‘amazing’ player. He also had high praise for the youngster:

These words from a player as successful as David Silva would mean a lot for Lamine Yamal. The former Manchester City playmaker had a very successful career, the summit of which came when he played for Manchester City, and was also a key part of the highly successful Spanish national team.
