Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping tabs on Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as they aim to boost their attacking options for the future.
Journalist Ben Jacobs shared that PSG are still interested in the Colombian forward but face a challenge due to Villa’s £80 million asking price, which reflects Durán’s impressive performances and his recent contract extension.
Aston Villa seem determined to hold on to Durán unless they receive an exceptional offer. PSG, however, are reportedly valuing him at around £55 million, creating a significant gap in the negotiations. Other clubs are also monitoring the situation.
Jacobs also mentioned that Aston Villa recently rejected a £57 million offer from West Ham, their second bid this window. The Premier League club is said to be holding out for closer to £85 million (€100 million).

In the latest edition of The Athletic’s Transfer DealSheet, David Ornstein revealed the latest regarding Durán’s future at Aston Villa amid the recent transfer gossip.
“A firm decision has yet to be made but should bids of around £80m arrive for the 21-year-old Colombia international — whose goals-to-minutes ratio is among the finest around — and it suits all parties, a switch is certainly possiblem,” Ornstein wrote.
“If Duran does not depart on this occasion, his age and quality mean it could well happen in the not-too-distant future and for a greater fee.”
