Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has been tipped for a departure this summer. Under contract until 2028, it looks like the Uruguay international’s race at Anfield is run.
The 26-year-old failed to win over Arne Slot during the Dutchman’s first season in charge - scoring only five Premier League goals and dropping out of the starting lineup completely in the second half of the campaign.

It has been speculated that Nunez could therefore be surplus to requirements - with Liverpool intending to sign a new No9 in his place.
Alexander Isak, of course, appears to be first choice in that regard but Liverpool will have to stump up another British record sum to land the £150m-rated Swede.
Nunez’s sale could therefore bring in some very welcome transfer income for sporting director Richard Hughes to follow on from the departure of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich.
The striker is rated at around £70m - with the club having fielded bids from Saudi Arabia in January and Al-Hilal are again at the table this summer.
It is believed that Nunez favours a move to a European club but has already seen potential transfers to Atletico Madrid and Napoli disintegrate.
