Crystal Palace FC have reached a €27m agreement with Toulouse to sign France youth international Jaydee Canvot (19), according to a report from RMC Sport. The outlet reports that details still need ironing out between the Eagles and Canvot, who is expected to sign a five-year deal at Selhurst Park.
Canvot broke through at formative club Toulouse last season and has been identified by Get French Football News as a prospect to watch in our pre-season Ligue 1 guide. A versatile player with great anticipation and strong on the ball, he has often played at centre-back, but he is also capable in midfield, as he showed in Le TéFéCé’s win over OGC Nice on Saturday.

Signing Canvot may also mean Palace would now allow Marc Guehi to join Liverpool. The England international has entered the final months of his contract with the South London side.
