Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has no intention of calling time on his career just yet - not before 2027, at least.
On Thursday, the veteran forward signed a contract extension with Al-Nassr, keeping him at the Saudi club for another two years.
Since joining the club in 2022, Ronaldo has made 111 appearances, racking up 99 goals and 19 assists - just one strike away from hitting the century mark for the side.
He was recently approached about featuring in the FIFA Club World Cup, though no deal materialised. For now, his sights are firmly set on a personal milestone: reaching 1,000 career goals - a target he's just 62 goals shy of.
The 40-year-old continues to add to his legacy. He recently lifted the Nations League with Portugal and is expected to be part of Roberto Martinez’s squad for the next World Cup.
A serial winner with Manchester United and Real Madrid, he has five Champions League titles to his name and has been crowned the world’s best player five times.
