The fixture list could favour Napoli in this season’s Serie A title race against the likes of Inter Milan and Atalanta.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan, Napoli, and Atalanta are in the decisive stretch of the Serie A title race.

The Nerazzurri sit one points ahead of Napoli, and three ahead of Atalanta. In other words, there is very little to split them.

But in the view of the Corriere, there could be one point in favour of the Partenopei.

Could Fixture List Favour Napoli In Title Race Vs Inter & Atalanta?

Napoli do have a match against AC Milan on the way. However, other than that there are no head-to-head matches against “direct” rivals at the top end of the table.

Otherwise, the likes of Fiorentina and Bologna are among the toughest opponents Antonio Conte’s team have left.

On the other hand, Inter and Atalanta have to face each other just before the international break.

That can only play in favour of Napoli.

Then, Inter have to face the likes of Roma and Lazio. Atalanta, meanwhile, have all of Lazio, Milan, and Roma on the way.
