Coppa Italia: Milan vs Inter – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV | OneFootball

Rafael Leao returns to the Milan XI in a Coppa Italia derby against Inter, while Simone Inzaghi will pick Marcus Thuram and Joaquin Correa in attack for the Nerazzurri.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 BST) at San Siro. It’s the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals.

Milan are without the injured Emerson Royal and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, while the Nerazzurri must cope without Lautaro Martinez, Mehdi Taremi, Piotr Zielinski, Denzel Dumfries and the suspended Kristjan Asllani.

Milan coach Conceiçao will change again in defence, picking Malick Thiaw and Matteo Gabbia and leaving Strahinja Pavlović on the bench.

The most important return to the XI is surely Rafael Leao’s. The Portuguese will start as a left winger, joining Christian Pulisic and Alex Jimenez behind Tammy Abraham. The Englishman is favourite over Santiago Gimenez, as per Sky Sport and other Italian media.

Inter will rotate a bit more after Sunday’s win over Udinese, changing the entire defence. Alessandro Bastoni returns after a one-game ban in Serie A and will join Stefan de Vrij and Yann Bisseck in a three-man backline.

Nicolò Barella and Davide Frattesi will start alongside Hakan Calhanoglu in the middle of the park, while Thuram and Correa are the chosen strikers.
